Different Stuff

I have been wanting for some time now to share what God has done and continues to do for me and my children since my husband left more than two years ago. I think the thing that has surprised me most about how it is all playing out is my God's extravagant love for me. It has taken me this long to come to a place in my head where I am starting to accept that He loves me so much. So, to kick off this blog, I want to share the lyrics of a beautiful song that has been healing for me. The blog title is a line from Shadowfeet by Brooke Fraser. You can watch the video and hear the song here.

Walking, stumbling

On these shadowfeet

Toward home, a land that I've never seen

I am changing

Less and less asleep

Made of different stuff than when I began

And I have sensed it all along

Fast approaching is the day

[Chorus]

When the world has fallen out from under me

I'll be found in you, still standin'

When the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees

When time and space are through

I'll be found in you

There's distraction

Buzzing in my head

Saying in the shadows it's easier to stay

But I've heard rumours

Of true reality

Whispers of a well-lit way

When the world has fallen out from under me

I'll be found in you, still standin'

When the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees

When time and space are through

I'll be found in you

You make all things new

You make all things new

You make all things new

You make all things

You make all things

When the world has fallen out from under me

I'll be found in you, still standin'

When the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees

When time and space are through

I'll be found in you

When the world has fallen out from under me

I'll be found in you, still standin'

Every fear and accusation under my feet

When time and space are through

I'll be found in you

When time and space are through

I'll be found in you

When time and space are through

I'll be found in you
